Spanish Federation of Holiday Rentals Association

The Spanish Federation of Holiday Rentals Associations (FEVITUR) was born out of the commitment of 23 associations of tourist apartments and holiday homes that work every day to offer the best services to their associates.

It was constituted in September 2013 with the aim of articulating the sector around common objectives, giving voice and vote to all the associations that form it and serving as an interlocutor before the administrations and other public and private institutions.

More than 185.000 apartments managed.

FEVITUR represents more than 185.000 apartments managed by its 23 member associations. The rental of apartments for days or weeks is a very rooted activity in the main tourist destinations of any part of the world and Spain is no exception.

From FEVITUR they want to consolidate the short term rental industry, improve the quality of the services provided by the tourist apartments and ensure their integration in the market and coordination with other industry players and public authorities.

The objectives of FEVITUR are summarized in the following points:

  1. Coordination and Cooperation with the Spanish administrative organs and the General Directorate of Tourism of the different regional governments to develop regulations of possible compliance throughout the country.
  2. Cohesion of the sector and fight against not authorized practice of the profession. Implementation of quality control systems in companies and professionals of the sector as well as in the tourist apartments.
  3. Creation of synergies between partners and service provision.
