The pandemic brought me from San Francisco to my birth town, a Colorado town at the base of the Rocky Mountains’ Tenmile Range. The lay-offs were hard for me as a hotelier, but it gave me the chance of starting my own business learning basically all from scratch about the vacation rental industry, including which softwares should be my travel buddies for this new adventure.

Avantio´s website creator is very easy to customize and update, has all the social media plug-ins, widgets, Whatsapp web, and MailChimp integration for ultimate connectivity which is very important for me.
Increasing the traffic to Hamlet website with SEO and marketing tools it’s not just saving Noah on OTA fees with direct bookings through his site but it’s also key to attract new property owners and increase his portfolio.

Every profitable opportunity should be taken, there are PMCs that work with properties with small margins because they are backed by huge rounds of investment, but I’m a solo entrepreneur, my time it´s 100% optimized and my money, even more!
The problem?
For Noah, it was very difficult to deal with the daily tasks and operations of his properties, his background in the hospitality industry is in revenue management, he didn’t have previous housekeeping experience
I actually asked for advice about Doinn to my former hotel colleagues, as you know,they even asked me to make them an intro with them for the hotel!
Working in an international hotel chain for most of his professional career, gave Noah an international business perspective but with such a small “team” his growth has been more national than international, at least for now!
I feel still I could grow more and some of my clients are now investing in Cancun and Dominican Republic, I know I have the knowledge and the tools but I still have to think about it better
